A goodbad day is a day when you have really good stuff happen and kinda crappy stuff happen.

Good Stuff: Got an A+ on my Math test.
Got an A/A- on my English paper (and I didn't even read the book!)
Got healthy food
Got a cute scarf and a cute hat to go with my cute coat

Bad: TONS of homework!
A big project due tomorrow in AP Psych.
Guilt (I got an A on my paper and I didn't even read the book, when people who did read the book got C's on their papers, but is it really my fault that I'm a FANTABULOUS paper-writer?I'm very proud of that paper!)
STRESSSSS!!!!!!!! from choir and school.
Feeling of hopelessness. I sometimes feel like all this bs in choir is never gonna end.

SO yeah. That was my goodbad day.

Love, Death and Shit By Me!
Well, last night I went out to dinner with Gabby, Kate and ...Katie Scott! I haven't seen her since June! I was soo excited to see her, but she didn't seem as excited to see me. Dinner was really good though, we went to Applebee's. Then after Dinner Gabby and Kate came back to my house and we played Fact or Crap and watched Pride and Prejudice (2005) . It was really good. But then when it was over, Gabby and Kate stayed at my house and talked about boyfriends, funerals and poop until 2:30 am!!! So when I drove them home (Yes I know, my two 18-year-old friends still don't know how to drive!) we were talking about writing a book filled with memories and calling it Love, Death and Shit ! Then when I came home, my dad was kinda pissed because I got home at 3:00 am, and they were supposed to go home at midnight! SO he said I couldn't go shopping with them today. Which sucks!

Well, I had a good Christmas. I got my coat, and tickets to see the Lion King when it comes to town. Hairspray, PotC 3 and Dreamgirls. GIft certificates, all in all, a good X-Mas.

Rick and Liz were at X-mas at Gramps and Grandma's this year. Dominick is tooo cute. And Peter is still wierd. Today I told the "Kindergarden Teacher/Asshole" joke to Megan and Jan, and Peter was there too. I warned them that it had a bad word in it, and that Pete might want to leave, but Megan said it was okay for him to stay. When I finished thge joke, two minuets later, he went into the living room and told all the family about it! It was really embarrassing!

After we left Gramps and Grandma's house, we took Mom and Chuck to the airport. They get to go to Orlando cuz Chuck's dancing in the Champs Bowl. And oh, how I wish I was with them! I really want to go back to Florida! I'm even watching CSI:Miami right now!

Very Interesting Christmas Day!

This Day has been terrible and it keeps getting worse! It started off with me waking up late, then getting my contact stuck up on top of my eye for like 10 minuets.

We did the most confusing thing in AP Psych today. She gave us a paper with graphs on it and told us to look up their meaning in the book. I know that sounds easy, but it was super confusing!

Then the worst part of my day: Madrigal Elementary School Tour. I went into the choir room and I really wanted to tell Kyle about my slow reflexes and my mom's joke from the night before. But he wasn't in there. Hollyann and Emily were though, so I started telling them about it. Then David came in and joins our circle, and the 2 girls totally ignored me half way through my story.

Then I asked Holly if she could zip up my dress for me, and she said she would "if no one else was in the bathroom". So we went to the bathroom and there were a bunch of Mads girls in there, so Holly left me. Then I asked my other "friend" Amalia, to zip me up, and she was like "Well, there are other girls in here, so I'm gonna go".

By the time I finished getting my dress on the only other girls were Chelsea H. and Rachel (who was putting her own dress on). So I asked Chelsea to zip me up and she said okay. She was going really carefully, but the zipper still broke! By that time Rachel finished and left. SO I said to Chelsea "Let me see if I can fix the zipper". She said okay and LEFT THE BATHROOM!

Well, I couldn't fix the zipper and was "stuck between a rock and a hard place", when Chelsea Bogda came in to go to the bathroom. She immediately asked if I need help. She tried to fix the zipper, she ran down to the healthroom to get safety pins and she even took care to pick the smallest pins to help close my dress (so the pins wouldn't be noticeable).

I've known the Mads girls for 3-4 years, and they couldn't have cared less about me, and I've only known Chelsea B. since July, and she was extremely nice to me.

I went home, and had the people at Seams-B-Fitting put a new zipper in my dress, then I went to the final 2 Mads gigs. At the Hillcrest show, Joe stepped on Emily's dress and ripped it out of place. All the Mads girls crowded around her and tried to fix her dress, and gave her hugs and stuff, and when David and James tryed to rush them (since we were late to the gig), Hollyann turned on them and was like "Her dress broke, give her a break!" That pissed me off! So I whipped around and said "SO did mine!" in a mean tone, but she didn't hear. It was f*%#ing ridiculous!

Then at 4:30, I got a shot, and after that I had to go to Chuckie's 7th grade Christams concert, which wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.

And now I have a ton of homework due to tomorrow, and a paper for English on a book I didn't read! I think I'll email it to him over x-mas break.

So today the cast list was posted for Grease. And it was totally horrible.First of all, I'm in the Chorus. I was the friggin's lead last year and this year I'm in the Chorus. WHatever, I'll elaborate more on that later

Mrs. Richards type-casted all the boys, and then she type-casted the majority of the girls, but put some girls in spots to make it seem like she wasn't type-casting. Ex.- Brittany Sanders, our big, voluptuos black girl as Chacha DiGregorio. Most all the other parts she type-casted though.

Well, Mrs. Richards heard the stuff going around that she was type casting and pre-casting, so at the cast meeting after school today, she went on this venting rampage about how she doesn't type cast and how she is totally fair, and how she put the talented people where they were supposed to go. That's when I got pissed.

It was throwing salt on an open wound. She basically implied that I (and some of the others) didn't have enough talent to be leads. Once again I bring up the fact that last year, I was good enough to be a lead, and we were doing Anything Goes, which is 10 times harder than Grease! But this year I'm not talented enough to be a lead.

And it was total B.S. about her being fair. If she was fair, she would have had everybody read the parts during callbacks, not just some people she would pick and choose. And she gave Kelsey Mack 3 CHANCES to sing during callbacks, when everyone else only got 1! She should NOT be venting on us that she's fair when she isn't! It was Bullshit! It made me soooo mad!

So today after school, Kyle and Eric came over and we were all venting up a storm about everything! And now I feel a lot better, and more willing to accept my role in the chorus. I'm gonna have more fun in the chorus anyways. Especially laughing at the leads and Mrs. Richards when things go wrong and the show falls apart.

Wow, I officially HATE Mrs. Richards and everyone else that type casts. Today at the call backs for the musical, she was TOTALLY type casting everyone! She only picked cute, skinny blondes or redheads to play Sandy. She only picked the slutty girls to play Marty. And WORST of all she only picked us "bigger" girls to play Jan- the Pink Ladie who is always eating. And she only picked the frumpy girls (Hollyann and I) to read Miss Lynch.

I feel like complete SHIT! Yeah, Mr. Brown wasn't obvious in trying to hide who his favorite were last year, but at least he didn't type cast! And his favorites were usually picked because they were soo talented!

And imagen how this will look on my apps! I want to go to school for opera, so ANY experience when I can sing and dance would be fantastic! And last year I get a lead in the musical-Looks GREAT on apps & resumes. This year I'm in the chorus??!!!?? Doesn't look so hot on apps & resumes.

I shouldn't be too upset, because last year I hated being a lead. I WANTED to be in the chorus, mainly cuz all my friends were in the chorus! This year I'm in the chorus, and I'm pissed. Well, that's not exactly true. I'm pissed because of the way Mrs. Richards has been treating me. I HATE feeling like this, and I HATE Mrs. Richards for making me feel like this! I sooo don't want to sing in the Choralunion concert tonight! I just want to crawl into bed and cry myself to sleep. I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat ever again!

And to make matters worse, Mr. Heath told me he thinks I eat junk food everyday for lunch. I eat a sandwhich, crackers, fruit/yogurt everyday for lunch. I know it's probably not the best, but I don't think it's THAT bad, but maybe it is if I'm not skinny enough to get a good role in the musical!

I DON'T want Monday and the cast list to ever come!

Well, today was the last day of musical auditions. Tuesday was the Acting audition. We had to prepare a monolouge to perform. In past years we've just did improv games, and that was our audition. But this year we have a new Drama teacher (and I think she doesn't like me!). And then on Wednesday (more like hell-day! I didn't even get to watch GG!) we had our singing audition. Which was also different this year compared with last year because we have a new choir director also(she likes me though). In the past we've been able to prepare our own pieces and sing them a capella. We could pick something that showed us off, but this year, there was a packet of songs for us to choose from. Most of them sucked. Then tonight was our dance audtion. And the dance was SUPER easy!

SO hopefully I'll make it in the musical this year. I didn't really bomb any of my auditions. Yes, I messed the dancing up a little, but I was dancing in the same group as Kyle, so they weren't really paying attention to me anyways. And they didn't laugh at my monolouge, and it was supposed to be funny, but I hadn't gotten to the funny part yet when I ran out of time. And Mrs. Hyland cut me off before I could reach the really awesome belting part of "On My Own". I know I should want to get a lead since I want to go into opear, but after last year I would defintely prefer to have a small role, or even be in the chorus!

Well, I guess we'll see what happens next. Call backs are tomorrow. If you don't get a call back, that doesn't mean you're not in the show though, it just means they aren't sure what role they want you in. Cast list will be posted on Monday. Hopefully we don't get a snowday like last year!!!

SO after this week, you'll probably lose me to the world of Grease.

Well, tonight I went with the 258 Gang to decorate our tree for the Hartland Community Center. Kinda weird to know that this is the last one we'll do. I've never really enjoyed it though. So I guess I won't be too sad.

Holy Crap! I gotta do my homework! I got a TON of it!

Well, today is my Chuckie's 13th birthday! I can't believe it! I can remember when she was born! And when we were growing up and she used to be the whinniest little shit on the face of the planet. I remeber taking her to physical therapy. It's weird.

I've known Chuck for the past 13 years, but I've only liked her for the past few years. I'm definetly going to miss her next year. I think she's gonna miss me too. We're all we've got. It's just me and her.

This whole past week I've been thinking about it. Like 'HOLY CRAP! Chuck's a teenager now.' She's always looked like oneand usually acted like one, but now she's technically a teenager.

It's weird man...very weird. We're growing up.

Okay, so today I walked into school and found out that there was a Musical meeting today after school. It kinda peeved me off, because I had to work today, but it didn't conflict with anything. I was mainly ticked because of the short notice of it. That announcement should have been posted long before today.

Then 3rd hour when I was about to give Kyle our "Drama Board President" a bit of a hard time about it, he wasn't there, but Chelsea H. was. I can't stand her. I always thought she was fake, and after I found out that she joined the "skip-choir-because-Allison-is-directing" Facebook Event/Group, it just really pissed me off.

So since Kyle wasn't there, I said something about it to her. And then she tells me that it was in the announcements for the past week, which was a total lie. It was NOT in the announcements. The first time the majority of the musical people found out about this was TODAY! People who are in Drama knew about it before then, though.

Mr. Heath even agreed with me that it wasn't in the announcements. So My blood really started boiling. Chelsea had the audacity to lie to my face and she made me feel like a toatl, complete, crazy, fool. Which I hate, especially if I'm right!

Then at the end of 3rd hour Carly Stormed into the choir room and was bitcing up a storm. Surprise, Surprise, right? Well, this time, I actually agreed with her. She was also raging about this musical announcement. She was saying that today was the first time she had ever heard about it. When she said that I was like "Thank you! I'm not the only one!" Then she started complaining that she had to work at 3:15, and she couldn't get off, cuz it's her first day at this job and blah, blah, blah.

Then when our strong Mr. Drama Board President Kyle found out that a ton of people had never heard about this meeting, he was like "Oh, sorry, I thought it was in the announcements." GGGGAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! Get some friggin' balls and take charge of the Drama Department! THat's your job as Prez!!!!

Then I found out from innocent little Maisy W. that not even Amalia wants me to get a lead. I'm sure this is gonna be a FUN-FILLED musical!

So I'm having such an exciting day!!! I have to clean my room, and it's in pretty bad shape, and I also have to write my common app. essays for college. My mom's on me because she doesn't think I'll finish the app in time for the deadline (which is Dec. 1st) and my dad REALLY wants me to clean my room, because we're having Thanksgiving tomorrow.

I'd do my apps and stuff on Friday or Saturday, but I work. Friday I work 9:45 am until 6:00 pm. and Saturday I work 10:30 am until 7:00 pm! Then on Sunday, I have to go to like 2 homework parties. One of them is at Anna's house, and is for this English project we have to do with Dave H. and Ryan Sitzberger. And I have to write the script, because Dave won't do it, even though he totally lost the "1,2,3, Not It" game. And I have to find some time this week to get together with Jenni P. so we can do math homework together.

Holy, Cow! I just wasted an hour on Facebook and LJ. CRAP!!

Today we went to Cafe Bistro for lunch together, and we talked about Gilmore Girls the whole way there! And I'm becoming better friends with David Gallagher! AAANNNNDDDD Me and Jenni P. are finally able to talk and catch up during Math class. Overall, I'd say it was a good day.

Well, on Friday after school, I went to the International Holiday Folk Faire with AFS. Vickie (our German exchange student) and I hung out the whole time. She's very nice. My mom picked me up early and then we went to the opera. We saw the Merry Widow. OMG, it's soo cute! I <3 it! I think it's probably my second favorite opera. The more I think about it, the more impressed I get. The music was very modern. It reminded my mom and I of the musical, The King and I, but it was written a good 50 years before, which is soo totally cool. Lehar was definetly ahead of his time! We didn't really like the woman who placed the widow, Hanna. She had a beautiful voice and all, but from where we were sitting, she looked really old. Not at all like a merry young widow. Some of the dancing wasn't perfect, but it wasn't too noticeable. On the whole, I enjoyed it very much.

On Saturday, Chuck had a Poms competition. Her Poms team won their division, so they got to dance a the Wave game after. That was pretty awesome. The Wave was kicking butt. Mom and I had to leave at half time in order to get Grandma her pills, but when we left, they were ahead, 12-5. Then this morning, Chuckles got to dance on FOX 6 news.

Today, I sat down and wrote out my 2 short anwsers for the St. Olaf Supplemental of the Common App. Then I sent a disgustingly long amount of time on Facebook. It's definetly my favorite website! I also made dinner, which was pretty cool, and now I have to go and do my homework. YUCK!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going soooo crazy right now! Not only am I freakin' about NATS and the Choral Union concert, but we finding more out about Grandma. She's getting worse by the day.

She has a brain tumor and it's pretty big. AND it didn't originally come from her brain, either. They don't know where it's come from. She has to have people with her at all times. My mom is always on the phone talking to doctors and her siblings.

And I have this guilt eating me up, just like the rest of us do, because we all thought she was faking it. Doing it for attention because Alice was getting attention for having breast cancer. And now we've all found out how serious it is. Honestly, I don't think Grandma's gonna make it to Thanksgiving.

And I had another blow in choir yesterday. I was the section leader for the sopranos last year. That was a merit based appointment. ell our new sub, Mr. Heath (love hime to death) said that the sections should pick their section leaders, so the first picked Jenn. Another fucking popularity contest that I lost.

Life is pretty much sucking for me right now.

SO life is kinda crazy right now. Tonight we had an impromtu family dinner. All my aunt and uncles and cousins on my mom's side came over, and Grandma too, of course, and we all had dinner together.

Grandma has developed dimesia-like sysmptoms...over the past 2 WEEKS! The doctors think she had a stroke, and Uncle Dale thinks there is bleeding on the brain, which would cause the forgetting stuff. It's kinda scary talking to her, because she knows what she means, but she forgets what it's called and stuff like that. Like this morning, when my mom was talking to her, she couldn't even remeber Chuck's name, when she could on Tuesday.

This year is just really sucking for me.
